The Pet is in the bunker that the Terminator leads them to at the end of the film.

Set a decade after Terminator 2, John Conner now lives "off the grid" to avoid detection. Unable to find him, Skynet sends a new robot, T-X, back through time to kill his future generals. The resistance also sends back a terminator (the original T800) to protect them.
