Tandy TRS-80 Color Computer

Also known as the "Coco", this was a popular home computer. The earlier versions came with a silver case and clicklet keyboard.

Silver Spoons - Season 1, Episode 7 "The Great Computer Caper" (1982)

Ricky uses his Dad's Coco to run a code cracking algorithm and break into a military computer.

The only concern here is whether the compute power of the Coco is sufficient to break the code.

The Coco is used as a keyboard as part of the Street Hawk console.

It's only used as a keyboard, so why not use a keyboard? In fact the production team obviously agreed with me because the Coco only appears in the pilot.
